Jack McDougall (Bass and Backing Vocals “Chris Glen”)
Jack is one of Scotland’s most prolific bassists and a veteran of the rock circuit in Glasgow and surrounds. He has worked with many bands over the years.
Asked for his bio, Jack says “I got my first bass at 14 from my mother’s Freemans catalogue and was shown the basics from neighbour Charlie Casware, a regular on the Glasgow Big Band scene……and, unknown at the time to me, Charlie was childhood best friend of Alex Harvey. My influences came from 70’s rock bands like Yes and Deep Purple, overtaken by SAHB UFO, Queen and AC/DC…..then anything on the radio I could play along with. My first band I was in when still at school called Deja Vous, then local pub bands Riff Raff, The Rude Boys, High Voltage, Vagabond, Paris, etc. I met and got to know Chris, Zal and Ted from SAHB in the early 90’s when SAHB reformed and I attended many of their gigs – I can meet them for a beer now! Big change from a 15yr old watching them in awe at the Glasgow Apollo in 1975 and Parkhead ’76.”
Graham Platt (drums “Ted McKenna”)
Graham has been playin drums since, well as he puts it “since I first started wrecking my folks furniture with bits of meccano. Fortunately, they bought me my 1st kit when I was 10 or 11 (thank you). I will continue to play even though it hurts now! Peace”
A veteran of the rock scene throughout Scotland, Graham has sat in the hot seat for many rock bands over the years including Tigers on Vaseline (David Bowie tribute band) and The Coffins as well as SAHE.
